Rick Nyman and Kim Parker were married November 21,2009. Rejoice Lutheran, in Frisco, is a small church with a very friendly minister. Everyone chips in to help out at the church. In fact, the groom, Rick Nyman helped open up the church, turn on the lights, and set the temperature for the building when we first arrived. Rick is a very serious, thoughtful person. I interviewed him while he was getting his tux adjusted prior to the ceremony. I asked him about his bride and his speech speeded up, his eyes started sparkling, and he was quicker getting ready. During the ceremony, his bride Kim had such a warm smile as the church doors opened and she entered. Since their pastor knew them well, he had some very personal words of thanks and encouragement to them.
