Louis Darrouzet and Sarah Zubiate exchanged vows December 5, 2009 at St. Rita Catholic Church in Dallas. St. Rita is a church set in the round, and this elegant wedding featured the entire church choir, organist, and a song written by the choir director. Sarah is a choir member, and so is Louis’s father, so it was a very special time for them. During parts of the ceremony, the priest was talking and joking with the couple under his breath. Since we had a microphone on him, we captured all of this. During the proofing stage, we allow the couple to decide if they want this under the breath left in the film, or whether we mute it.

The reception was in the newly remodeled Hotel Intercontinental, featuring a live band. The father’s toast brought tears to everyone, including the cameramen.

The wedding was at St. Rita Catholic Church in Dallas, where Sarah’s fellow choir members filled the church with song. The elegant reception was kept lively by Big-T and the Bada-Bings band at the Hotel Intercontinental in December 2009.
