Folohan & Nori
Folohan & Nori
Folahan Ayoola and Nore Ojogun tied the knot September 6, 2008 at St. Lukes Catholic Church in Irving. An African wedding is so colorful that it is always fun to record. On top of that was the most handsome groom, Folahan, a doctor, and the most beautiful bride, Nore, a doctor. Nore could easily win a beauty pageant. Just look at her video. The ceremony took place in the very ornate St. Lukes Catholic Church in Irving with the most helpful priest you could meet. Because both the bride and groom are type A people, they were a little nervous about all the preparations turning out well. The priest managed to calm them and made them feel like they were the most special people in the entire world. Before the ceremony, the priest even gave me suggestions are great places to stand for the best video angles.
The reception was even more colorful than the ceremony. During the introductions, each group would dance their way into the room to special cultural music. They would wear the cultural clothes of their representative families and dance in unison. Later there were a series of cultural dances they performed together. What a delight of sound and color.
The colorful Nigerian ceremony was at St. Luke Catholic Church in Irving. The reception was at Capella Court in Richardson.
